Gold Coin play only in West Virginia
These operators let West Virginia players use Gold Coins, but not Sweeps Coins, so there’s nothing to redeem.
West Virginia sweeps casinos that remain open
West Virginia is the most restricted state we cover. 44 brands on our tracker exclude it, including McLuck, Chumba Casino, LuckyLand Casino, Stake.us, Pulsz and every A1 Development and UTech Solutions site, leaving 49 of 93. Like most states, it has no law tailored to sweepstakes casinos; the status is gray, which doesn't amount to legality. The five below lead our Overall Score, which weighs verified terms and online reach equally, among those that remain.
- 1.
Fortune Coins (Fortune Wins)Mail Code letters, 500 FC
Fortune Coins keeps West Virginia on its 35-jurisdiction map. A handwritten Mail Code letter earns 500 Fortune Coins, worth $5, and West Virginia redemptions go to a bank account or a Visa virtual card.
- 2.
Crown CoinsStill open to West Virginia
Crown Coins still takes West Virginia accounts, where 44 tracked brands don't. Prizes from 50 SC go by bank transfer, Skrill or prepaid card, after an ID check.
- 3.
WOW VegasOpen where few are
WOW Vegas is one of only 49 brands still open to West Virginia. MassPay prizes take 1 to 2 business days, Monday to Friday, and gift cards start at 20 SC.
- 4.
SportzinoKeeps West Virginia on its map
Sportzino covers 34 of 51 jurisdictions and still accepts West Virginia, which 44 of the brands we track do not. Mail-in requests add 5 Sweeps Coins each. Cash prizes need 50 SC after one playthrough.
- 5.
Zula CasinoMail Code letters accepted
Zula Casino accepts West Virginia players and their handwritten Mail Code requests, at 5 Sweeps Coins per accepted letter. Its welcome adds up to 10 SC without a purchase. Its operator is SCPS LLC.
West Virginia already has fewer open brands than any other state we cover, and more could leave. Check each casino's current rules for the state before buying Gold Coins.
