Privacy Policy

Last updated 2026-10-14

This policy explains what information SweepsCheck (sweepscheck.com) collects, why, and the choices you have. The site is operated by [Company legal name], [Registered business address]. Questions: use our contact form.

What we collect

We don’t ask you to create an account, and we never collect payment details. We collect your name and email only if you send us a message through the contact form (see below). Otherwise we collect two kinds of information:

  • Preferences stored on your device in first-party cookies: your age confirmation, the state you choose, a state hint from our hosting provider, and whether you opted out of analytics. They are used only to remember those choices, show the right casinos and hide links that don’t apply where you are.
  • Usage analytics through Google Analytics 4: pages viewed, how you arrived (for example a search engine or another site), approximate location (country, region and city, derived from your IP address), device and browser type, and interactions such as clicks on links to casino sites. Google Analytics 4 does not log or store IP addresses. We use this to understand which pages are useful and to improve the site.

Google Analytics

Google Analytics is provided by Google LLC, which processes this data on our behalf. We have turned off Google signals and ad personalization, so the data is used for measurement only and not for advertising. We keep analytics data for 14 months. You can read how Google uses data from sites that use its services at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.

Your choice: analytics never load if your browser sends a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal. You can also switch them off here:

Google also offers a browser add-on that blocks Google Analytics on every site: tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.

Contact form

When you use the contact form, we receive your name, email address, the topic you choose and your message, plus the page you sent it from and your IP address, which we use to limit spam. The message reaches us as an email through our email provider, and we use it only to reply and to handle your request. The form is protected by Cloudflare Turnstile, a security check that helps block spam; Cloudflare processes technical information about your browser, including your IP address, to run it, under its own privacy policy. We don’t add contact-form details to analytics or share them with operators.

You can delete or block cookies in your browser settings. The site still works without them; you’ll just be asked for your age and state again.

What we don’t do

  • We don’t sell personal information, and we don’t share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
  • We don’t run advertising trackers or retargeting pixels.
  • We don’t pass your information to casino operators. When you click through to a casino, you leave our site, and that operator’s own privacy policy applies.

Your rights

Depending on where you live (for example California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia and other states with consumer privacy laws), you may have the right to know what personal information we hold about you, to ask us to delete or correct it, and to opt out of its sale or sharing. Because we don’t operate accounts, the only data tied to your name is a message you send us through the contact form. Analytics data isn’t tied to your name. To make a request, use our contact form and choose “Privacy or data request”. We will respond within the time the law requires and won’t treat you differently for using these rights.

Children

This site is intended for adults of legal age to take part in sweepstakes promotions (18, 19 or 21, depending on the operator and state). It isn’t directed at children, and we don’t knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

Security and storage

The site is served over HTTPS. Like most websites, our hosting provider keeps standard server logs, which include IP addresses, to deliver and protect the site. Analytics data is stored by Google, which may process it in the United States and other countries where it operates.

Changes

If we change this policy, we’ll update the date at the top of this page. Material changes, such as adding a new type of tracking, will be noted here before they take effect.
