How Pharaoh's Fortune works

  • Wins pay left to right on 10 fixed lines.
  • The Book substitutes for every symbol, and 3, 4 or 5 anywhere pay 2×, 20× or 200× your bet.

The free spins, step by step

  1. Three or more Books pay their scatter prize, then 10 free spins begin.
  2. A special symbol is picked at random first. It's usually a card. The Pharaoh is the rarest pick, about 3 times in 100.
  3. After each spin's normal wins, the special symbol expands to fill its reels if it's on enough of them: two for the Pharaoh, Anubis, Eye of Horus or Scarab, three for the cards. They don't need to be next to each other.
  4. It then pays on all 10 lines, ten times the single-line pay. Three Scarabs pay 30× your bet instead of 3×.
  5. Three more Books add 10 spins. The feature stops early if the round hits the 5,000× cap.

Controls

Press spin, or the space bar on a keyboard. Press it again while the reels are moving to stop them early. Use + and − to change your bet, the lightning button for faster spins and the circular-arrows button for autoplay. The i button opens the full paytable and rules.

RTP and volatility in plain English

The 96.3% RTP comes from our own simulation of 10 million rounds of this game. It's a long-run average, about 96.3 credits back for every 100 played, and one session can land far from it. Here it's all play money anyway.

We rate it high volatility. Some win landed about once every 3 spins. Free spins came about once every 171 spins and averaged about 57× the bet, a third of the return (33.5 of 96.3 points), so long gaps between features are normal. The biggest round in 10 million was 2,120×.

Getting the most out of the demo

  • Bet size scales the credits, not the odds.
  • Watch which symbol gets picked. Anubis can pay from two reels, while a card needs three.
  • Press i for the full paytable in credits at your current bet.

Pharaoh's Fortune FAQ

How do I trigger free spins in Pharaoh's Fortune?

Land three or more Books anywhere for 10 free spins. Three more during the feature add another 10.

Which special symbol is the best one to get?

The Pharaoh. Expanded across all five reels it pays 5,000× your bet, the game's max win, but it's picked only about 3 times in 100.

Is the Book a wild or a scatter?

Both. It's wild on the lines and a scatter anywhere on the screen.

How it compares

Temple of Gold shares the 5,000× cap but runs its free spins on a ×3 to ×15 multiplier ladder. Cosmic Crystals is calmer, with a feature about once every 15 spins.
