Halls of Thunder free slot
Eight or more of the same symbol anywhere on the screen pay. Winning symbols vanish and the rest tumble down, and lightning orbs worth ×2 to ×100 multiply the whole win. In free spins the orbs add up to a multiplier that never resets.
How Halls of Thunder works
- There are no lines or ways. 8 or more of one symbol anywhere on the 6×5 screen win, and 10 or 12 or more pay more.
- Winning symbols vanish, the ones above fall into the gaps and new ones drop in. It keeps going while there are wins.

Pays as a multiple of your total bet, before orb multipliers. Four, five or six Thunderbolts anywhere pay 3×, 5× or 100× on top.
Orbs and free spins, step by step
- Lightning orbs can land on any spin, each showing ×2 up to ×100. They don't pay on their own and they don't vanish in the tumbles.
- When the tumbles stop, if the spin won anything, every orb on the screen is added up. Orbs showing ×5 and ×10 multiply the spin's total win by 15.
- 4, 5 or 6 Thunderbolts anywhere pay 3×, 5× or 100× your bet and start 15 free spins.
- In free spins orbs land about ten times as often, and each winning spin adds its orbs to a running multiplier. That total multiplies every winning spin after it and never resets during the feature.
- 3 or more Thunderbolts during free spins add 5 more. Wins are capped at 5,000× your bet.
Controls
Press spin, or the space bar on a keyboard. Press it again while the reels are moving to stop them early. Use + and − to change your bet, the lightning button for faster spins and the circular-arrows button for autoplay. The i button opens the full paytable and rules.
RTP and volatility in plain English
The 95.7% RTP is what the game paid back over 5 million simulated rounds, give or take about 0.8 points. It's an average over a very long run, so one session can land far from it, and the credits are play money.
We rate it high volatility. Some win came about once every 4 spins (1 in 3.9). Free spins came about once every 437 spins and averaged about 111× the bet, roughly a quarter of the return (25.4 of 95.7 points). The best round in 5 million was 2,388×.
Getting the most out of the demo
- Orbs only count on a spin that wins. A screen full of orbs with no win pays nothing.
- In free spins an early orb counts for more than a late one, because the running multiplier applies to every win after it.
- Bet size scales the credits, not how often orbs or Thunderbolts land.
Halls of Thunder FAQ
How do the lightning orbs work?
Each orb shows a multiplier from ×2 to ×100. When a winning spin's tumbles end, all the orbs on the screen are added together and the total multiplies that spin's win.
Does the multiplier carry over in free spins?
Yes. In free spins the orbs from every winning spin go into a running total, and that total multiplies every winning spin for the rest of the feature.
How many symbols do I need for a win?
Eight of the same symbol anywhere on the screen. They don't have to touch or sit on a line.
How it compares
Sugarplum Pop also tumbles, but pays clusters and builds its multipliers into the grid itself. Temple of Gold has the same 5,000× cap, with a multiplier ladder that climbs on each cascade.
