Leprechaun's Hoard free slot
Gold coins carry credit prizes or one of three jackpots. Land six and they lock in place for Hold & Spin, where every new coin resets your respins. Fill all 15 spots for the Grand.
How Leprechaun's Hoard works
- Wins pay left to right on 20 fixed lines. The rainbow wild lands on reels 2, 3 and 4 and stands in for every symbol except gold coins.
- Gold coins show a prize from 1× to 25× your bet, or a Mini (10×), Minor (25×) or Major (100×) jackpot.
Paytable highlights
| Symbol | Five | Four | Three |
|---|---|---|---|
| Leprechaun | 50× | 12.5× | 2.5× |
| Pot of Gold | 30× | 7.5× | 2× |
| Lucky Horseshoe | 20× | 5× | 1.5× |
| Top Hat | 15× | 4× | 1.25× |
| Ace, King | 10× | 2.5× | 0.6× |
| Queen, Jack, Ten | 7.5× | 2× | 0.5× |
Line pays as a multiple of your total bet. Jackpots are fixed: Mini 10×, Minor 25×, Major 100×, Grand 1,000×.
Hold & Spin, step by step
- Land six or more gold coins in one spin. Line wins on that spin pay first.
- The coins lock, every other spot clears, and you get 3 respins.
- Each respin can drop new coins into empty spots. If one lands, the count resets to 3.
- It ends after three empty respins in a row, or when all 15 spots are full.
- Every coin then pays its value. The 1× coin is the most common, the Major the rarest.
- A full board adds the Grand (1,000× your bet). The round is capped at 2,500×.
Controls
Press spin, or the space bar on a keyboard. Press it again while the reels are moving to stop them early. Use + and − to change your bet, the lightning button for faster spins and the circular-arrows button for autoplay. The i button opens the full paytable and rules.
RTP and volatility in plain English
The 95.3% RTP is what the game paid back over 5 million simulated rounds, give or take about 1.1 points. It's an average over millions of spins, not a guide to the next 50. The coins and jackpots are play money.
High volatility fits. Results swung more here than in any of our other simulated games. Hold & Spin came about once every 154 spins and averaged about 55× the bet, more than a third of the return (35.7 of 95.3 points). The best round in 5 million was 1,177×.
Getting the most out of the demo
- Coins only pay through Hold & Spin. Five on screen pays nothing extra.
- Bet size scales every prize, jackpots included, not how often coins land.
- A long run without the feature is normal. Lower bets stretch the 1,000 starting credits, and refills are free.
Leprechaun's Hoard FAQ
How many coins do I need for Hold & Spin?
Six or more, anywhere on the reels in a single spin.
How do I get the Grand jackpot?
Fill all 15 positions during Hold & Spin. The Grand adds 1,000× your bet on top of the coins, up to the 2,500× cap.
Does the wild stand in for gold coins?
No. It substitutes for every symbol except the coins.
How it compares
Pharaoh's Fortune is the other high-volatility game here, built around free spins instead of coins. If you'd rather see a feature often, Cosmic Crystals starts its respins about once every 15 spins.
Want to play for prizes?
Here the credits are play money. At sweepstakes casinos you can play similar games with Sweeps Coins and redeem the Sweeps Coins you win for prizes, in the states where each operator allows prize play and only if you meet its minimum age (18, 19 or 21, depending on the operator). See the best sweepstakes casinos, or start with how Sweeps Coins and Gold Coins differ.
