Reel Zappy vs Win Bonanza

The short version

Only 0.1 separates them on our Editor Rating (Win Bonanza 4.1, Reel Zappy 4.0), close enough that specific terms matter more. It splits cleanly. Reel Zappy wins for sheer catalog size (it claims 1,000+ games to 500+), and Win Bonanza for wider coverage (35 jurisdictions to Reel Zappy’s 33) and a bigger free start (5 SC on sign-up versus 2).

Where you can play

Prize play is open in 33 jurisdictions at Reel Zappy and 35 at Win Bonanza, out of 51 (the states plus DC). Win Bonanza’s figure, like Reel Zappy’s, reflects the operator’s own exclusions and state law.

Reel Zappy excludes Iowa and Mississippi, all of which Win Bonanza accepts.

Reel Zappy and Win Bonanza are both closed in 16 places, from California to Washington.

Reel Zappy and Win Bonanza both still list Utah as open; we treat it as unavailable because of a state ban or regulator action.

Turning SC into prizes

Both set the cash minimum at 50 SC.

Payout options match: ACH bank transfer at each.

Each requires Sweeps Coins to be played through 1x before they can be redeemed. Reel Zappy says it may require more. Win Bonanza puts 1 SC at $1 of prize value.

Free Sweeps Coins

Win Bonanza gives the larger no-purchase bonus: 5 SC and 20 free spins, against 2 SC and 20,000 Gold Coins at Reel Zappy.

Reel Zappy’s free mail-in entry pays 5 SC per request. To enter, obtain a unique request code, write out a request and post it. By post, Win Bonanza credits 5 SC per request. You handwrite a request and mail it in an envelope.

Gold Coin purchases

Gold Coin packages can be paid the same ways at each: credit or debit card. A Gold Coin package is never required, and only Sweeps Coins can be redeemed anyway.

Help and games

For help, both sites list email, 24/7. On games, Win Bonanza lists 500+ and Reel Zappy 1,000+ (operator claims).

How the ratings compare

The widest gap is game library, where Reel Zappy scores 4.5 to Win Bonanza’s 4.0 (Reel Zappy: 1,000+ games; Win Bonanza: 500+ games). Availability goes the other way: 3.7 for Win Bonanza, 3.4 for Reel Zappy (35 open jurisdictions against 33 open jurisdictions).

Win Bonanza has the noticeably larger online footprint by Market Signal. That reflects search visibility, not the quality of its rules. Both are too new for a momentum reading.

Same owner?

Yes. Reel Zappy and Win Bonanza both name SGSE LLC as operator, which makes them sister sites. American Luck is the third brand we track from the same group. Their minimum age, cash minimum, mail-in amount, playthrough, payout methods and support channels are identical; they differ on state list. In practice the same company stands behind both sites, so pick on the terms that differ, not on who runs them.
