RealPrize vs Shuffle.us

The short version

There’s no gap on our Editor Rating (4.1 each), which puts the weight on individual terms. Each has its own case: RealPrize for wider coverage (36 jurisdictions to Shuffle.us’s 29), Shuffle.us for prizes paid in crypto.

Where you can play

Prize play is open in 36 jurisdictions at RealPrize and 29 at Shuffle.us, out of 51 (the states plus DC). We count a state as closed if the operator excludes it or state law bans sweepstakes casinos.

Only RealPrize is open in District of Columbia, Illinois, Kentucky, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Vermont and West Virginia.

RealPrize and Shuffle.us are both closed in 15 places, from California to Washington.

RealPrize and Shuffle.us both still list Utah as open, and RealPrize’s also shows California, Delaware, Indiana, Louisiana, Maine, New Jersey and Tennessee. A state ban or regulator action overrides that, so they count as closed here.

Redeeming prizes

Both set the cash minimum at 100 SC. RealPrize also offers gift cards from 45 SC. That makes a gift card the quicker first prize at RealPrize.

RealPrize’s options are cash and gift cards. Shuffle.us’s options are ACH bank transfer, credit or debit card and crypto.

RealPrize doesn’t state a processing time in what we’ve verified. On timing, Shuffle.us’s rules say: usually within a few hours; up to 1–2 business days (business days only).

Each requires Sweeps Coins to be played through 1x before they can be redeemed. RealPrize says it may require more. Shuffle.us requires identity verification before you redeem.

Free ways to play

New accounts at Shuffle.us get 1 SC and 25,000 Gold Coins with no purchase. We couldn’t confirm a free sign-up amount for RealPrize.

RealPrize’s free mail-in entry pays 1 SC per request. You write out a request on a 4x6 card and send it in an envelope. By post, Shuffle.us credits 1 SC per request. The steps: get a request code first and mail it in.

Gold Coin purchases

For Gold Coins, Shuffle.us accepts Visa, Mastercard, ACH bank transfer and crypto, while RealPrize accepts credit or debit card and Skrill. You don’t have to buy anything at Shuffle.us or RealPrize; Gold Coins are play money with no redemption value.

Support and game library

For help, both sites list email, 24/7. RealPrize claims 500+ games. Shuffle.us doesn’t publish a count we could confirm.

What drives the ratings

Purchase options separates them most: Shuffle.us 4.5, RealPrize 3.0 (Shuffle.us: 4 purchase methods plus crypto; RealPrize: 2 purchase methods). Availability goes the other way: 3.8 for RealPrize, 2.9 for Shuffle.us (36 open jurisdictions against 29 open jurisdictions).

Shuffle.us isn’t scored on game library because we haven’t verified the underlying facts; RealPrize is. Unscored dimensions don’t count against a casino; they’re left out.

RealPrize has the noticeably larger online footprint by Market Signal. That reflects search visibility, not the quality of its rules. Momentum reads cooling at RealPrize and rising fast at Shuffle.us.

Who runs them

Shuffle.us’s operator is Munyon Canyon Ltd (British Virgin Islands); RealPrize’s is Realplay Tech Inc, so the two aren’t related.
