Punt vs RealPrize

The short version

On our Editor Rating they sit close together: 4.2 for Punt, 4.1 for RealPrize. RealPrize is the stronger pick for low-threshold gift cards, starting at 45 SC, while Punt is better for free entry by post (5 SC a request, 1 at RealPrize) and players who prefer live chat to email.

State availability

Punt offers prize play in 35 of 51 jurisdictions and RealPrize in 36. A state counts as closed here when either the operator’s list or state law shuts it.

Only RealPrize is open in West Virginia.

Neither accepts prize play in 15 jurisdictions, including California, Idaho and Maine.

Each operator’s list still shows Delaware, Indiana, Maine and Utah as open, and RealPrize’s also shows California, Louisiana, New Jersey and Tennessee. We count them as closed anyway, because a ban or regulator action applies.

Redemption rules

Both set the cash minimum at 100 SC. Gift cards open at 45 SC at RealPrize and 100 SC at Punt. At RealPrize, a gift card is the lower bar to a prize.

On timing, Punt’s rules say: up to 10 business days for cash to your bank account. RealPrize doesn’t state a processing time in what we’ve verified.

Sweeps Coins at RealPrize must be played 1x (it may require more) before redemption. We haven’t verified a playthrough rule for Punt.

Free Sweeps Coins

Punt takes mail-in requests at 5 SC each. The steps: get a request code first, handwrite a request on a 4x6 card and mail it in an envelope. RealPrize’s free mail-in entry pays 1 SC per request. To enter, write out a request on a 4x6 card and mail it in an envelope. Five requests would bring 25 SC at Punt and 5 SC at RealPrize.

Buying Gold Coins

RealPrize lists credit or debit card and Skrill for Gold Coin purchases. Punt’s purchase options aren’t in what we’ve verified. A Gold Coin package is never required, and only Sweeps Coins can be redeemed anyway.

Punt offers live chat support. You can reach RealPrize by email. Stated hours: 24/7. We have a game count only for RealPrize: 500+, by the operator’s own claim.

How the ratings compare
