Legendz vs UptownSweeps

The short version

Only 0.1 separates them on our Editor Rating (Legendz 4.2, UptownSweeps 4.1), close enough that specific terms matter more. Legendz comes out ahead for free entry by mail, which its rules spell out and players who prefer live chat to email. UptownSweeps doesn’t come out ahead on any term we compared.

Where you can play for prizes

Their maps match: both are open for prize play in the same 36 jurisdictions, counting DC. Both figures fold in Legendz’s and UptownSweeps’ own exclusions plus current state bans.

Neither accepts prize play in 15 jurisdictions, including Montana, New York and Washington.

Each operator’s list still shows Indiana, Maine and Utah as open, and Legendz’s also shows Delaware. State law or regulator action restricts sweepstakes casinos there, so we count them as closed.

Redemption rules

Cash prizes start at 100 SC at either site. Gift-card prizes at Legendz start at 50 SC. That makes a gift card the quicker first prize at Legendz.

Legendz’s options are Prizeout gift cards. UptownSweeps pays by ACH bank transfer.

Legendz’s payout timing isn’t in its verified terms. For UptownSweeps, the stated timing is: up to 15 business days after approval and verification.

Playthrough is 1x at both before Sweeps Coins count toward a redemption. Legendz’s rules allow it to require up to 20x. UptownSweeps’ rules allow it to require up to 20x. UptownSweeps puts 1 SC at $1 of prize value.

Free Sweeps Coins

Legendz’s free mail-in entry pays 3 SC per request. The steps: get a request code first, fill out a request card and mail it in. UptownSweeps’ mail-in route isn’t in the rules we’ve verified.

Gold Coin purchases

Legendz lists credit or debit card, Apple Pay, Skrill and ACH bank transfer for Gold Coin purchases. UptownSweeps’ purchase options aren’t in what we’ve verified. Purchases are optional either way, because Gold Coins can’t be redeemed for prizes.

Help and games

Legendz offers live chat and email support. Stated hours: 24/7, 365 (live chat and email). You can reach UptownSweeps by email. Legendz also offers sports picks alongside casino games.

How the ratings compare

The widest gap is support, where Legendz scores 4.5 to UptownSweeps’ 3.0 (Legendz: live chat and email around the clock; UptownSweeps: email). UptownSweeps pulls back some ground on free-play value, 5.0 to 4.5 (UptownSweeps is scored on 1x playthrough alone; Legendz’s score also averages in 3 SC per mail-in request).

We score purchase options for Legendz but not UptownSweeps, whose record lacks the facts needed. An unscored dimension is left out of the average, not counted as zero.

Market Signal, which tracks online footprint rather than the terms, puts Legendz clearly ahead of UptownSweeps. UptownSweeps is too new for a momentum reading; Legendz’s momentum is declining.
