FreeSpin vs RealPrize

The short version

RealPrize edges FreeSpin 4.1 to 3.9 on our Editor Rating, a gap too small to settle much by itself. The facts favor FreeSpin for live chat support. There’s no term on record where RealPrize does better.

Where you can play

State by state there’s no difference. Each covers the same 36 of 51 jurisdictions. We start from each site’s excluded-states list, then remove any state where the law bans sweepstakes play.

FreeSpin and RealPrize are both closed in 15 places, from California to Washington.

FreeSpin and RealPrize both still list Delaware, Indiana, Louisiana, Maine and Utah as open, and RealPrize’s also shows California, New Jersey and Tennessee, but those states restrict sweepstakes casinos, and we go by the law.

Redeeming prizes

Both set the cash minimum at 100 SC. RealPrize also offers gift cards from 45 SC. So RealPrize players short of the cash minimum can still redeem for a gift card.

FreeSpin’s options are ACH bank transfer. RealPrize’s options are cash and gift cards.

On timing, FreeSpin’s rules say: up to 10 business days for cash redemptions. RealPrize’s payout timing isn’t in its verified terms.

Each requires Sweeps Coins to be played through 1x before they can be redeemed. RealPrize says it may require more. FreeSpin values 1 SC at $1 in prizes.

Playing without buying

FreeSpin’s sign-up offer: 20 free SC spins at no cost (Free Spin winnings capped at 2 SC per 5 spins).

FreeSpin’s free mail-in entry pays 1 SC per request. The steps: obtain a unique request code, write out a request card and post it. By post, RealPrize credits 1 SC per request. To enter, handwrite a request on a 4x6 card and send it in an envelope.

Gold Coin purchases

We’ve verified RealPrize’s purchase methods (credit or debit card and Skrill), not FreeSpin’s. A Gold Coin package is never required, and only Sweeps Coins can be redeemed anyway.

Support and game library

You can reach FreeSpin by live chat or phone. RealPrize offers email support. Stated hours: 24/7. RealPrize claims 500+ games. FreeSpin doesn’t publish a count we could confirm.

Ratings explained

The widest gap is transparency & trust, where RealPrize scores 5.0 to FreeSpin’s 4.0 (RealPrize: a named operator; FreeSpin: no named operator). On redemption terms it’s 4.0 for RealPrize and 3.5 for FreeSpin (RealPrize: 2 payout methods; FreeSpin: 1 payout method and a stated wait measured in days).

We score purchase options and game library for RealPrize but not FreeSpin, whose record lacks the facts needed. Unscored dimensions don’t count against a casino; they’re left out.

By Market Signal, a measure of search presence rather than terms, RealPrize is the better-known site. Momentum reads rising at FreeSpin and cooling at RealPrize.

Who runs them

RealPrize is operated by Realplay Tech Inc. FreeSpin’s terms, as far as we’ve confirmed them, don’t name an operating company.
