FreeSpin vs Legendz

The short version

Legendz has the higher Editor Rating, 4.2 to 3.9. Legendz comes out ahead for free entry by post (3 SC a request, 1 at FreeSpin). We found no verified fact where FreeSpin does better.

Where you can play

FreeSpin and Legendz accept prize play in exactly the same 36 of 51 jurisdictions. Legendz’s figure, like FreeSpin’s, reflects the operator’s own exclusions and state law.

Neither accepts prize play in 15 jurisdictions, including Montana, New York and Washington.

Each operator’s list still shows Delaware, Indiana, Maine and Utah as open, and FreeSpin’s also shows Louisiana, though sweepstakes casinos are restricted there. We follow the law, not the list.

Turning SC into prizes

Both set the cash minimum at 100 SC. Gift-card prizes at Legendz start at 50 SC. That makes a gift card the quicker first prize at Legendz.

FreeSpin pays by ACH bank transfer. Legendz’s options are Prizeout gift cards.

FreeSpin’s stated processing time: up to 10 business days for cash redemptions. Legendz doesn’t state a processing time in what we’ve verified.

Playthrough is 1x at both before Sweeps Coins count toward a redemption. Legendz’s rules allow it to require up to 20x. FreeSpin puts 1 SC at $1 of prize value.

Free Sweeps Coins

FreeSpin’s sign-up offer: 20 free SC spins at no cost (Free Spin winnings capped at 2 SC per 5 spins).

FreeSpin’s free mail-in entry pays 1 SC per request. To enter, get a request code first, handwrite a request card and mail it in. By post, Legendz credits 3 SC per request. To enter, obtain a unique request code, fill out a request card and post it. Five requests would bring 5 SC at FreeSpin and 15 SC at Legendz.

Gold Coin purchases

Legendz lists credit or debit card, Apple Pay, Skrill and ACH bank transfer for Gold Coin purchases. FreeSpin’s purchase options aren’t in what we’ve verified. A Gold Coin package is never required, and only Sweeps Coins can be redeemed anyway.

Support and games

FreeSpin offers live chat and phone support. You can reach Legendz by live chat or email. Stated hours: 24/7, 365 (live chat and email). Legendz also offers sports picks alongside casino games.

How the ratings compare

Most of the difference comes from transparency & trust: 5.0 for Legendz, 4.0 for FreeSpin. Legendz has a named operator; FreeSpin has no named operator. Legendz also leads on support, 4.5 to 4.0 (Legendz: live chat and email around the clock; FreeSpin: live chat and phone).

FreeSpin isn’t scored on purchase options because we haven’t verified the underlying facts; Legendz is. That gap doesn’t pull either overall rating down, since unscored parts are skipped.

By Market Signal they have a similar online footprint, which says nothing about their rules either way. FreeSpin’s search momentum is rising; Legendz’s is declining.

Who operates each site

Platinum Panther Ltd. (Malta) runs Legendz. We haven’t found an operating company named in FreeSpin’s terms.
